Why All Humans Must Find The Ghost

Dictionaries define a ghost as an apparition of a dead person which is believed to appear or become manifest to the living, typically as a nebulous image. Nebulous means hazy or vague, that is, unclear. Therefore, it is impossible to fault the logic of those who question the claim that a ghost, The Holy Ghost is their God. Given that the transition between the terrestrial into the celestial is equally imprecise and continues to be ground for the metaphysical study of the interactions between the physical and the spiritual, there is enough evidence that man’s curiosity and determination to unravel the mechanics of the relationships confirm the existence of both worlds. Hence, a ghost may not be an apparition but an element invisible to us, yet, physically palpable because of our testimonies.

Essentially, we know that we do not have the scientific explanation for every phenomenon on earth. Spiritually, the exercise of our faith continues to prove the existence of supernatural, and may be, extraterrestrial forces that produce physical results. The link between the scriptural incidents of evoking the spirit of Saul in the Old Testament, and the manifestations following Deacon Phillip’s preaching in Samaria, and his eventual translocation to the Ethiopian eunuch’s chariot is the supernatural phenomenon identified by Jesus Christ (1 Samuel 28: 11–15; Acts 8). Jesus told us that He must leave the world in order to usher in The Holy Ghost to dwell with mankind forever (John 16:7). The character, the personality and the profits of faith in The Holy Ghost are discussed elsewhere as The Holy Ghost runs His ministry on earth. Yet, it is undeniable that this God, The Holy Ghost continues to reside with us in this era of grace.

The Earthly Presence of The Holy Ghost

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the pillar of Christian faith. No one prayed for Him, He just got up from His grave when He was ready to do so. And this is a remarkable difference from other situations. Once again, there are records of these events. Human intelligence cannot wish them away. The effector(s) of documented strange events around the resurrection remain unidentified (Matthew 27: 51–53).

Therefore, the words of Jesus Christ must be taken rather seriously (Proverbs 30:5). We know that even the dead respond to the power of this Spirit. A dead body jumped up because it touched the casket of Elisha the Prophet in the Old Testament (2 Kings 13:21). So, we have evidence of this irresistible invisible power from ancient scriptures as well as modern literature. In modern times, we have several testimonies of the power of His presence as promised by Jesus Christ in the examples of disciples as documented in the New Testament and testimonies in our dispensation.

In other words, for everyone able to apprehend the grace of salvation, they have the rights to request the benefits of the power of the Holy Ghost (John 14:12–14). In addition to do miraculous things, if you believe that the following fruits are desirable lifestyle behaviors, then, it is time to appreciate the rulership of the Holy Ghost over every human activity. Only the Holy Ghost makes it happen, Jesus is not physically here anymore. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:22–25, KJV).

You Need The Holy Ghost

Did the dove of Noah finally find its target — the Prince of peace?

“Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing” (Revelations 5:12, KJV). That is, everyone that accepts the personal salvation guaranteed with the slaying of the Jesus on the cross has entitlement to receive the power, riches, honor, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessing associated with the redemption bought with the crucifixion f the sinless ma on the cross. The sacrifice brings with it divine ability and supernatural endowment to mediate and to facilitate the full enjoyment of the dividends of our faith.

Irrespective of whatever deceptions is thrown at us from various perspectives, men have always appreciated the existence of the supernatural, and its ability to influence the physical affairs of men. Hence, kings had astrologers, magicians, diviners and prophets in their councils. Their remain so many belief systems other than Christianity because we believe in the existence of the supernatural. Spiritual communication with the supernatural is ageless.

The Bible in many Old Testament passages talk about God’s blessing of power for His people in the end time (Joel 2:28). Jesus told us to go and wait for the Holy Ghost to empower us with the ability to do all things (Luke 24:49; John 1:12; Acts 1:8). “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:18–20, KJV).

For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power, says the Word of God in Paul’s epistle first to the Corinthians, chapter four and verse twenty. You need empowerment of the Holy Ghost to facilitate a fulfilled Christian life.

Power For The Now

The wise king said, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5–6, KJV). Even Jesus needed the empowerment of Holy Spirit to fulfill His ministry. He needed to subject that human aspect of His being to the control of the supernatural, ministered by Holy Ghost (Luke 4:14). The Holy Ghost is the effector, facilitator of celestial and terrestrial interactions. He made creation possible. He invades our dreams, cause prophecy, enable conquests and healing (Acts 10:38).

The ability to do anything profitably, live a good life, a morally upright life, and to help others physically, financially and spiritually peaceably resides in the mediation of the Holy Ghost. It Is the one sure way to bring contrary deception into subjection and to revel in the seven redemptive gifts of God. For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power, says the Word of God in Paul’s epistle first to the Corinthians, chapter four and verse twenty.
